About Me

7 years of studying both design and development

High-school - Web design

2018-2021

Starting in high school, where I studied web design as my chosen trade, I quickly discovered a passion for building high-quality websites across both front-end and back-end development. Driven by curiosity and a desire to learn, I developed data collection tools for my high school robotics team, created a public-facing marketing website for a real client while still in school, and earned first place in SkillsUSA Web Design at Pennsylvania District 7.

College - Major In UX/UI Design and Research

2021-2025

In 2021, I began my studies at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. After three semesters in game design, I developed a strong interest in the intersection of human psychology and interactive product design, which led me to switch my major to User Research. Since then, I’ve gained hands-on experience developing skills in user research, evaluation, and human-centered design.

Major internship Opportunity - United Stated Army War College

2021-2025

In Spring 2025, I took a nonrequired class Special Topics: Games as Simulations, a class that had a major impact on my career path. We explored tabletop games and their use in military, educational, and specialized simulation contexts, learning how game mechanics can model real-world scenarios and decision-making processes. I had always enjoyed strategy games as a hobby, but this class opened my eyes to their potential as tools for user research and systems analysis. Building on what I learned, I secured an internship at the Carlisle Army War College in the Department of Strategic Wargaming, where I developed a symbol generator for wargames, reviewed the tool with senior staff, and observed several real-world wargames in action. This experience gave me hands-on insight into how interactive simulations can inform strategy and research, and remains one of my most meaningful academic achievements.
